First slide

Before you’ve added your first slide, the various media sources will be listed on the page immediately.

  1. Click the “Record audio slide” button. This will open the VoiceThread media recorder.
  2. Click “Start recording”.
  3. Click “Allow” if your web browser prompts you to allow VoiceThread to access your microphone.
  4. Click “Stop recording”. The audio will process for a few moments and then play back for you.
  5. Click “Save” to save your recording or “Cancel” to cancel. Click “Record more” if you would like to continue recording more audio on the same slide.
  6. After you save, the media recorder will close and you will be taken back to the original page. Your audio slide will be listed on that page.

Additional slides

  1. Click the “Add media” button. This will open a dialog with the media sources listed.
  2. Click the “Record audio slide” button. This will open the VoiceThread media recorder.
  3. Click “Start recording”.
  4. Click “Allow” if your web browser prompts you to allow VoiceThread to access your microphone.
  5. Click “Stop recording”. The audio will process for a few moments and then play back for you.
  6. Click “Save” to save your recording or “Cancel” to cancel. Click “Record more” if you would like to continue recording more audio on the same slide.
  7. After you save, the media recorder will close and you will be taken back to the original page. Your audio slide will be listed on that page.
